Cooperation with Egyptian company Elsewedy Electric discussed in Tashkent

Mayor of Tashkent Jahongir Artichojayev met with representatives of the Egyptian company Elsewedy Electric, whose delegation was headed by Ahmed Al Suwaydi Head of the Board of Directors. This was reported in the press service of the khokimiyat of Tashkent. During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of cooperation. Ahmed Al Suwaydi offered Uzbekistan cooperation on a number of issues, including with the capital of the state. With regard specifically to Tashkent, he announced his intention to cooperate in the construction of a drayport (logistics centre), the production of smart meters and the provision of electricity. In turn, the Mayor of Tashkent invited Ahmed Al Suwaydi to familiarize himself with the projects planned to be implemented in the capital of Uzbekistan. The prospects of cooperation with Uzbekistan will be determined after the study of the relevant networks by the specialists of the company Elsewedy Electric and the conclusion of experts on them. It should also be noted that Ahmed Al Suwaydi said that the company Ellsewedy Electric is engaged in the production of cables, transformers, electrical devices for the creation of renewable energy sources, construction and equipping of power transmission networks, distribution systems, as well as gas meters.
