Airbaltic to the middle of April stops all flights to Milan and Verona from Riga

The national Latvian carrier airBaltic decided to completely interrupt air traffic with Milan and Verona until mid-April, writes the portal nra.lv. The company promises to contact all passengers who have already paid for tickets individually. The news agency has already reported that earlier Ryanair catch-up flying from Riga to Bergamo, Milan, decided to reduce the number of flights from March 17. Earlier, airBaltic announced a reduction in the number of flights from Riga to Milan in Italy for the period from 23 March to 31 May. Later cancelled 90 more flights from March 23 to April 5. The Latvian Centre for the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (SPKC) strongly recommended that all Latvian residents refuse to visit the epicentres of Covid-19 disease.
