Prague police guard officials who allowed demolition of Konev monument


The chief of the Prague-6 district Ondrzej Kolarge, by whose order the monument twice to the Hero of the Soviet Union Marshal Ivan Konev was demolished, received personal protection, writes April 22 RESPEKT. This is done to protect the official after his act with the demolition of the monument. In a similar situation were the Mayor of Prague Zdenek Grzib, as well as the Chief of the district Rzheporye Pavel Novotny. As previously reported by the news agency, in Russia initiated criminal proceedings against persons who allowed the demolition of the monument to Konev in Prague. This action was carried out by the Prague authorities on April 3, 2020. Read also:
