Wintershall Dea meets its Northern Stream obligations - 2

The German oil and gas company Wintershall Dea has fully fulfilled all its obligations to finance the Nord Stream 2 project. This was announced today, May 20, by the head of the company Mario Meren during a telephone conference. He said Wintershall Dea had made the last payment, thereby meeting its financial obligations for North Stream 2. We remind that the construction of Northern Stream 2 is financed by companies from the EU and Western Europe by 50%. These are British-Dutch Royal Dutch Shell, Austrian OMV, French Engie and German Uniper and Wintershall. The U.S. authorities threatened all companies that participate in the implementation of Northern Stream 2 with sanctions.
