Popular in social networks dancer condemned in Egypt for promiscuity

A popular belly dance performer on social networks was sentenced to prison for promoting promiscuity in a court in Egypt. This was reported on June 29 by Reuters. A criminal case against the popular dancer Samu El-Masri on social networks on charges of promoting promiscuity and immorality was opened in April this year. As a result, the court sentenced the star of social networks to three years in prison and to pay a fine of 300 thousand Egyptian pounds (about 1.3 million rubles). According to a court decision, the dancer used social networks to promote immorality and thereby tried to destroy family values and principles, which are prohibited by the country's constitution. The lawsuit against El Masri and several other bloggers was filed in court by Egyptian Member of Parliament John Talaat. The politician said that there is a huge difference between freedom and debauchery. The convicted girl denied all the accusations against her and stated that she was not going to give up. According to the dancer, all the videos were stolen from her and uploaded to the social network without her knowledge and consent. Earlier, the news agency reported filing a lawsuit against the popular Twitch online streaming service by the user of this service due to the fact that, according to him, he became a sexual addict, which is to blame for many half-dressed streamer girls.
