Unemployment in Sweden continues to rise - SVT

Unemployment in Sweden continues to rise and currently stands at 8.9%. On June 22, citing data from the Swedish State Employment Service, SVT Nyheter reported. According to the agency, from June 15 to 21, 15,753 people in the country registered to look for work, which is 5,999 more than in the same period last year. In total, last week the number of unemployed in Sweden amounted to 462,526 people. The issue of finding a job is particularly acute among young people, since 69,794 of the total number are people aged 18 to 24 years. According to the forecast of the Swedish State Employment Service, youth unemployment will reach 13% this year and just over 15% in 2021.
