Rahmon congratulated Putin on approving amendments to the Constitution

The head of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, congratulated Russian President Vladimir Putin on the completion of the vote on amendments to the Constitution, the press service of the President of Tajikistan reports. During a telephone conversation between the leaders of the two countries, Rahmon noted that the amendments would serve the benefit of all Russian citizens. According to him, the high turnout of Russians at polling stations is another vivid evidence of strong public support for the course chosen by the country's leadership to strengthen Russian statehood.
