In Israel, teenagers found a treasure with hundreds of gold coins

Teenage volunteers who participated in excavations in central Israel found a treasure 1100 years old, on August 24, Reuters reported. It was amazing, Oz Cohen, one of the volunteers who found the treasure, told reporters. It looked like thin leaves. When I looked closely, I saw that these were gold coins. According to archaeologists, the treasure found in the ruins of ancient workshops dates back to the time of the Abbasid caliphate of the 9th century. It contained 425 coins of pure gold. See also:
