In Turkey, 996 cases of infection were detected per day SARS-CoV-2


Over the past day, 996 new cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in Turkey. This was announced on August 1 by the Minister of Health of the country Fahrettin Koja on the page on the social network Twitter. According to him, a total of 231,869 coronavirus infections have already been detected in the country since the beginning of the epidemic. The Minister also said that another 19 patients with COVID-19 died in Turkish hospitals during the day, the total number of fatal cases increased to 5710. 215,516 people were cured and discharged from hospitals. According to the news agency, on August 1, the World Health Organization (WHO) reported that 289,321 cases of coronavirus infection were detected worldwide over the past day.
